1. Product Description
Membrane concentration is a technology that reforms traditional processes to achieve high-efficiency purification and concentration. It utilizes the difference in molecular weight between the active ingredient and the liquid to achieve directional separation and achieve the effect of concentration. Compared with traditional heating and concentration, it has the advantages of low energy consumption, normal temperature, and little impact on products.
It has been used in the following applications:
1. Purification and concentration of gelatin, proteins and enzymes Ultrafiltration has become an efficient process for purification and concentration of gelatin, proteins and enzymes, gelatin, etc. The advantages of ultrafiltration concentration are that there is no phase change, generally no heating is required, the process is simplified, the applicable pH range is wide, and the inactivation prevention is prevented. It is very suitable for the separation and concentration of heat-sensitive substances. Usually, the pretreated crude product is subjected to ultrafiltration to allow some low molecular weight substances and salts to pass through the membrane, so that enzymes and proteins can be concentrated and refined. Purification and concentration of dyes, etc. Nanofiltration has been widely used in the purification and concentration of materials with a molecular weight of 200-2000, such as dyes, antibiotics, peptides and amino acids. The general process is to first perform diafiltration and constant volume desalination, and then dehydrate and concentrate. According to the final required purity and concentration of the product, determine the degree of constant volume desalination and the multiple of dehydration and concentration. Practice has proved that nanofiltration can replace processes such as precipitation, pH adjustment and (partial) evaporation to achieve the purpose of product purification and concentration, which is also a new high-efficiency and energy-saving process.
3. Clarification and concentration of fruit juice, tea juice and pharmaceutical preparations Fruit juice concentration is convenient for transportation and storage, and low-grade tea is processed into instant tea, which not only solves the problem of low-grade tea, but also improves benefits. In fruit juice concentration, UF is usually used to clarify (pre-treatment) the fruit juice, and then reverse osmosis is used to concentrate the juice, which can generally be concentrated to more than 20°BX. In the tea juice concentration, the pretreated tea juice is concentrated to a solid content of 15-20% by reverse osmosis, and then frozen for storage or spray drying. The application of membrane technology in this field is being developed, especially the clarification and concentration of pharmaceutical (Chinese herbal medicine) preparations, MF(UF)+NF(RO) is the most commonly used process.
